Gran Centenario Tequila History
Gran Centenario Tequila was first made in 1857 by a tavern owner and distiller named Lázaro Gallardo at Hacienda Los Camichines in Jalisco, Mexico. Since then, the traditions and his proprietary Selección Suave™ process have been handed down from generation to generation. Gran Centenario is one of Mexico’s most popular tequilas and it remains a family-owned and operated business to this day.
