Pierre Ferrand 1840 Cognac
Where does cognac originate from?
Cognac, France, is the world’s most notable brandy region, and is roughly 80 miles north of Bordeaux. It was originally a wine making region. But in the mid-1500s, Cognac merchants began to distill some of their wines to make them more stable for transport and export.
