Our Shipping Information

All shipping is provided by our third party shipping provider, Kitsap Logistics. High Spirits assumes no responsibility for any compliance, we have made our best effort to follow all laws and regulations set by the States that we ship to.

We ship alcohol, so we are only allowed to use FedEx. We cannot use UPS or the US Mail. Customers are responsible for providing a valid physical address, including phone number where someone 21+ can sign for a package. Please remember to double check your addresses before submitting your order. High Spirits / Kitsap Logistics will not be held responsible for delays in orders or returned shipments due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses that have been provided by the customer.

Due to state laws we are NOT allowed to ship spirits to the following states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

We cannot ship internationally, to PO Boxes or to AE and APO boxes.

If you live in one of these states and would like the freedom to order spirits over the internet, as we would like the freedom to ship them to you we urge you to contact your local state representatives to change your state law to allow you to order the products you love.

Shipping Costs & Other Helpful Tips

SHIPPING COSTS

As mentioned before we are limited to using FedEx, we have no options for finding cheaper shipping options for you. FedEx applies 2 surcharges to our shipments – one for alcohol and one for the adult (21+) signature that is required. Both of these surcharges are on top of the regular shipping rates they charge us. Please do not be surprised if the cost of shipping is $20 or more for a basic shipment. We do not add a profit-generating markup to your shipping charge; we charge you what FedEx charges us.

We have found that the cost to ship 2 or more bottles is almost the same as shipping just 1 bottle. So, if you are looking to spread out your shipping costs, consider buying more than 1 bottle to make your shipping charges more cost-effective. If you like the products you see here that we stock, but you don’t want to pay shipping, come over and visit our store in Poulsbo, WA.

ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIRED

Adult signature (21+) is required, FedEx will not deliver unless someone is there to sign for it. If no one is around to sign, FedEx will make 2 more attempts before they return the package to us. We cannot tell FedEx to “Hold at Facility”, but you can. If you know that you are not going to be around when FedEx is scheduled to deliver, we encourage you to log into the FedEx website and request they hold your package. You can then go pick it up at your convenience. High Spirits will not refund purchases if the product is damaged after the first delivery attempt or if it is returned to us by FedEx.

ORDER TRACKING

Your will receive an email when your order ships, which will include a tracking number. If you are having trouble with tracking your order, please feel free to give us a call and we will help you contact FedEx.

CAN WE GUARANTEE DELIVERY DATES & TIMES?

There are a few reasons why FedEx might experience delivery delays; Storms, hurricanes, wild fires, to name a few. Due to the fact that there are forces of nature out there that we cannot control, we cannot guarantee delivery times once your order is out of our hands. We can guarantee that your order will ship out on time from our facility in accordance with our shipping schedule posted here.

GIFT GIVING

We love receiving gifts and surprises as much as anyone, but we strongly encourage you to notify the recipient of the shipment, in order to prevent delays in the product arrival. Let us know if you would like us to include a gift message (at no additional charge) so that the recipient knows where the delicious gift came from.
